I like Eastern Europe. I always feel home there. Countries with similar history and lifestyle each unique in their own way. Spending my first 20 years in St-Petersburg surely does play a significant role in my sympathie for the East Block...

Finland was the very first country I have traveled to. It was 1992 and my mom and I took a bus from St-Petersburg across the border all the way to Helsinki. I don't remember much from that trip only that for some reason we bought skiing and two woolen scarfs...

Whenever I feel like I need fresh air I leave Dortmund hop on a train and in 45 min I’m in Düsseldorf. Less than an hour ride and here I am doing what I love doing most - walking the streets, watching people and visiting my favorite places...

As my mom says: 'You can't be careful enough'. At some point she is right - we all should be more careful with our stuff and shouldn't go too easy about leaving our valuables unattended (ookay, now I also sound like my mom)...

When I first downloaded Instagram back in 2013 it was a simple photo sharing app. Filters were used, family members shared their meals and creatives had a chance to show off their works. Nobody cared for likes and follows much and the 'suggested users list' was a reward for producing great content...

 

One of my main goals when traveling (especially when my little one is traveling with me) is to carry as little as possible. 

I'm sure you'd agree, that there is nothing more frustrating than heading on a journey packed like a horse and count kilos at the check-in counter hoping not to get over the limit.

It’s not an easy task to find a secluded beach these days. In Cyprus being a popular vacation destination for British and Russian tourists this mission equals to impossible. But there are still lovely and less crowded beaches which will keep one happy...
